Artist images are off to the jurors.

Our Three Jurors are looking over the art we had submitted to us. They are now judging who will get selected for a banner to be displayed in Downtown Owen Sound.

We had over 300 images submitted to us, so the task of picking only 75 will be very hard.

Stay tune for more updates, and the announcement of the final artists who have been chosen.

  1. The artwork chosen for the banners in 2018 is beautiful. I am very disappointed to see that my Uncle’s artwork is not among the chosen for his category. Which 2018 chosen banners are from his category? His name is Walter Reid and he has been living in community care since he was 5 years old. He is currently 70 years old. As his power of attorney I submitted two entries on his behalf. He makes rugs, which is a different medium than most of the artwork chosen this year. Both of the pieces submitted were chosen because of their water theme.

    1. That is to bad.
The jurors, just got the images and a number, they have no idea who the people are.
I do hope he enters next year. I remember his rug hooking, thanks for entering him

  2. I spoke too soon . . . . one of his rugs was chosen! This is very exciting, I can not wait to show him!
